    Day One ~ Arrival in Vancouver

    Follow the maps and driving instructions included in your ‘On the Road’ travel kit, and follow the directions to your downtown Vancouver hotel and enjoy a day at leisure. Your hotel is close to shops and Museums. The theatre district is within walking distance. Accommodation has been booked for two nights.

    Day Two ~ Vancouver

    A day to explore this magnificent city nestled between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Take a tour of the city including Stanley Park and finish up with a fine meal in any one of the cities many international restaurants. Overnight Vancouver accommodation.

    Day Three ~ Vancouver to Saltspring Island

    Pick up your full-sized rental car at a downtown Vancouver office and follow the directions to the BC Ferries Terminal and the inter-island voyage to Saltspring Island in the Pacific Gulf Islands. Enroute, keep a lookout for the Orca Whales that frequent the area. Waterfront Saltspring Island accommodation has been reserved for two nights.

    Day Four ~ Exploring Saltspring Island

    Saltspring Island is the largest of the Pacific Gulf Islands and hosts one of the Pacific Northwest's largest artist and craft communities. Visit the studios, the pristine lakes and parks. Explore the local town of Ganges; its excellent restaurants and nightly entertainment. Overnight Saltspring Island accommodation.

    Day Five ~ Saltspring Island to Tofino

    Depart Saltspring Island and follow the scenic Island Highway north. The highway to Tofino includes opportunities to view the stunning Old Growth Forest at Cathedral Grove and the Steam Railway and 'turn of the century' lumber mill at Port Alberni. Your waterfront accommodation at Tofino is for two nights.

    Day Six ~ Exploring Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park

    Walk the unspoilt beaches of Tofino or take an interpretive tour. Whale watching trips in high speed Zodiacs leave on a regular basis, as do trips to Hotsprings Cove. Overnight Tofino accommodation.

    Day Seven ~ Tofino to Port Alberni

    Lots of time to explore Tofino before heading back to Port Alberni and an overnight stay before boarding the Lady Rose and the day excursion to Bamfield. Overnight Port Alberni accommodation.

    Day Eight ~ Port Alberni to Bamfield

    An early departure on the MV Lady Rose will introduce you to some of the continents most scenic viewscapes. Have your binoculars handy as you traverse the Pacific Rim to Bamfield, an isolated west coast community connected by wooden walkways and water taxis. Overnight Bamfield accommodation.

    Day Nine ~ Bamfield to Mount Washington Resort

    This remote village of Bamfield is a wilderness enthusiasts dream. Lots of time for guided interactive nature walks, kayaking and beach wandering before re-boarding the Lady Rose that will take you out to the Broken Islands before heading back to Port Alberni. Pick up your car in the parking lot and drive to Mount Washington Resort. Accommodation has been reserved for two nights.

    Day Ten ~ Mount Washington Resort

    A spectacular Vancouver Island retreat located almost above the clouds that includes nature walks to remote lakes, stunning alpine wildflower displays between early June and late August, and pony trekking. Located in Strathcona Provincial Park, Mount Washington is an unspoilt wilderness experience with all the comforts. Overnight accommodation at Mount Washington Resort.

    Day Eleven ~ Mount Washington  Port Hardy/Port McNeil *

    Follow the road back to the Island Highway and head north to Telegraph Cove. A perfect spot for Orca Killer Whale watching at Robson Bight accompanied by an experienced naturalist. You can book this option at the time of making your reservation. Enjoy a late lunch on the boardwalk that connects this picturesque village then travel north to Port Hardy/Port McNeil. Accommodation is reserved for two nights.

    Day Twelve ~ Port Hardy/Port McNeil

    Drive to Cape Scott Provincial Park. Take a picnic lunch from the hotel. Be amazed at trees in excess of 7 meters in diameter and discover the ocean "stacks", land forms unique to this area. Or visit the cave systems at Atlish and employ a guide to take you on a subterranean trip. Overnight Port Hardy/Port McNeil accommodation.

    Day Thirteen ~ Port Hardy/Port McNeil to Bella Coola

    Departing from Port Hardy, the BC Ferry service passes through some of BC's most remote coastal ports enroute to Bella Coola. Wildlife and giant sea mammals in abundance can be viewed from the deck of the ship. Accommodation in Bella Coola is reserved for one night.

    Day Fourteen ~ Bella Coola to Anahim Lake

    Charter a boat and take a cruise visiting the deserted fish canneries, perched on their stilts awaiting the salmon that are now processed elsewhere. Visit the museum or the old Hudson Bay Fort before heading inland through the Bulkley Valley to Anahim Lake. Waterfront accommodation has been reserved for two nights.

    Day Fifteen ~ Anahim Lake

    This is a day of leisure that can be filled with trail rides and barbeques, nature walks to view the largest Pelican rookery in Canada or trout fishing in the clear waters of the lake. Or not. Overnight Anahim Lake accommodation.

    Day Sixteen ~ Anahim Lake to 108 mile (near Williams Lake)

    As your BC tour continues east through Williams Lake, the majesty of British Columbia's interior unfolds through miles of uninterrupted rangeland, rolling hills and lake country. Driving south to 100 Mile House and on to the comforts of a luxurious spa after two weeks of uninterrupted adventure. Accommodation is reserved for two nights.

    Day Seventeen ~ 108 Mile

    Treatment pools, complete spa facilities, hydrotherapy and saunas will restore and refresh before continuing on to the resort community of Whistler. Overnight accommodation at 108 mile.

    Day Eighteen ~ 108 Mile to Whistler

    Following Highway 99 past Pavillion Mountain and through Marble Canyon it is a short drive via Pemberton to Whistler, site of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Whistler accommodation has been reserved for two nights.

    Day Nineteen ~ Whistler

    There is a lot to see and do in this luxurious BC resort town: shopping, golfing, kayaking, summer skiing and any other sport activity that you could name. Whistler Village is an all-accommodating year round destination with fine restaurants and popular shops.

    Day Twenty ~ Whistler to Vancouver International Airport

    Follow the dramatic Sea to Sky Highway as it coils around the base of the mountains, following the curve of the Howe Sound shoreline. Leave early and take the time for a round of golf at Furry Creek, one of BC's most challenging championship courses, before returning to Vancouver andthe completion of your BC tour vacation.
