Day One ~ Arrival in Vancouver

Follow the maps and driving instructions included in your ‘On the Road’ travel kit, and follow the directions to the BC Ferries Terminal for the direct service to Swartz Bay and the connecting ferry transfer taking you to Saturna Island. Waterfront accommodation has been reserved for one night at the Saturna Island Vineyard.

Day Two ~ Saturna Island to Victoria

There are many departures to choose from that will return you to Swartz Bay and the short Drive to Victoria. You are invited to a complimentary wine tasting at the Victoria Winery en route to your hotel. Waterfront accommodation has been reserved in Victoria for two nights.

Day Three ~ Victoria

Call in to the local Info Centre and pick up the ?Colours? brochure. Three separate sightseeing itineraries that follow three different coloured stripes down the local roads and byways. No better way to discover this beautiful city for yourself. Overnight Victoria accommodation.

Day Four ~ Victoria through the Cowichan Valley to Duncan

Depart your hotel and enjoy a leisurely drive into the Cowichan Valley. Follow the wine tour itinerary included in your documentation. You will be spending the night in comfortable accommodations in the pristine foothills behind the Valley. Located close to the 'Wine Tour' route you are also close to some fine restaurants and attractions.

Day Five ~ Duncan to Saltspring Island *

This morning follow the directions to a number of varied vineyards where premium wines are available at the farm gate and the tasting rooms are comfortable. A visit to the Cowichan Valley would be incomplete without visiting the Quw'utsun Cultural Centre, its displays of cultural history and its 'living story' presentations of tribal legends. A short drive takes you to Crofton and the BC Ferry service to Saltspring Island. Accommodation has been reserved for two nights.

Day Six ~ Introduction to Saltspring Island

Saltspring?s two wineries are located close to each other in the Fulford Valley. After your visit discover Saltspring Island. Visit the studios, and explore the local town of Ganges its excellent restaurants and nightly entertainment. Overnight Saltspring Island accommodation.

Day Seven ~ Saltspring Island to Vancouver

Three ferry connections to Vancouver with frequent departures leave ample time for a little adventure: sea kayaking, a charter salmon fishing trip or more exploring of this island paradise. Return to Vancouver via BC Ferries.
